Salt has long been used by koi breeders, either as a targeted bath or as a supplement in the pond, particularly to reduce stress during handling or sensitive periods. It must be non-iodized and free of additives: table salt is not suitable.
This collection offers Superfish non-iodized pond salt. Before use, calculate the water volume precisely, as the dosage depends on the number of liters. Salt does not evaporate: it only leaves the pond during water changes, and doses are cumulative. Some aquatic plants are sensitive to it. Salt is not a substitute for a diagnosis: if fish display abnormal behavior, have the water analyzed and seek advice from the Aquiflor team before any treatment.
