Filter brushes serve as the first mechanical stage in a multi-chamber filter or vortex: they trap suspended particles before they reach the biological media, and also provide a surface for bacteria to colonize.
The choice depends on the dimensions of the chamber: the length corresponds to the water depth, and the diameter (10, 15, or 20 cm) to the available space. They should be arranged in tight rows, leaving no free passage for the water. The collection includes Koi Pro and Aquaforte brushes (Koi Brush, Best Brush, Budget Brush with hook), packs of 10 Aquatic Science brushes from 30 to 100 cm, a 260 cm brush for vortex filters, and an Aquaforte spawning brush designed for collecting eggs.
Rinse them regularly with pond water to preserve the bacterial flora.
