Before any treatment, identify the problem: observe the fish's behavior, examine their skin and fins, and analyze the water. Some issues stem from unbalanced water (nitrites, ammonium, lack of oxygen). Then, calculate the actual volume of the pond to ensure the correct dosage is used, aerate during treatment, and turn off the UV-C if the instructions require it.
