The rotor is the moving part that drives water in a pond pump. A pump that hums without pumping, shows a drop in flow rate, or makes a grinding noise often has a worn, scaled, or debris-blocked rotor.
This section includes replacement rotors categorized by pump model: Oase (AquaMax Eco, Aquarius, and FP from 1500 to 3500), Pontec (ASE, PondoMax), Superfish (Pond Eco Next, PondEco Plus), Ubbink (Elimax, Xtra), and Messner (MPF 3000 to 6000).
To find the correct rotor, note the brand, exact name, and flow rate of your pump from its rating plate. When replacing it, clean the rotor chamber and check the shaft and its bearings; cleaning with white vinegar dissolves light limescale.
