Foams and filter media trap particles and act as a support for the bacteria that break down waste. Over time, they become clogged and lose efficiency: replacing them restores the filter to working order without changing the device.
- Original Oase foams: choose the reference corresponding to your filter (BioSmart, BioTec, ProfiClear) and the color, which indicates the coarseness.
- Superfish cut-to-size foams: 50 x 50 or 100 x 100 cm sheets, in 2 or 5 cm thickness, in fine, medium, or coarse mesh.
- Aquaforte filter mats, 120 x 100 cm, for multi-chamber filters.
Place the coarse mesh first in the direction of the water flow, followed by the fine mesh. Rinse the foams with pond water rather than tap water to preserve the bacteria.
